Front Of House Information Support And Validation Lead

The post holder will be based in Emergency Medicine, The James Cook University Hospital and will report into the service managers for this area. There is an expectation that the post holder will be on site to support data provision and validation Monday to Friday (09:00 - 17:00).
As part of these duties the post holder will support the data collection and data validation processes within the Emergency care directorate. They will be expected to be involved in the production of reports and thematic analysis of breach data and provide data to support meetings/discussions of this topic.
They will also have a role in supporting the front of house systems manager within the department to ensure efficient processes are in place to capture data and to become a super user for the symphony system.
Main duties of the job
1. The post holder will be required to respond to requests agreed by the service manager and deputy director of performance in relation to data collection.
2. The post holder may be asked to contribute to the production of reports and dashboards that include the analysis of the data available in the directorate.
3. You will be expected to liaise with clinical users to ensure they understand the inputting of data requirements in the department and have a role in teaching staff in new data capture processes.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE in Maths and English (A-C/4-9) or Functional Skills (level 2)
* Relevant qualification in IT or equivalent specialist IT system management knowledge.
Knowledge
* Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
* IT Knowledge across many systems
* Must have previous experience of the symphony ED system
* Must have previous experience and understanding of data validation
Experience
* IT industry experience managing systems
