ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Unit Nurse Manager (General) at Oulton Park care home, you'll use your compassion and initiative to ensure our residents receive the quality care they deserve. You'll plan, manage, and monitor the delivery of nursing that meets all of our residents' needs, implementing person-centred care plans that make a real difference to their day-to-day lives. Your responsibilities will include planning rotas, recruiting, training and mentoring staff, and building relationships with local regulators and social services. In this role, you'll have the autonomy to enhance your unit, with plenty of opportunities for professional development.
ABOUT YOU
To join us as a Unit Nurse Manager (General), you'll need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration. Experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is essential, along with an up-to-date knowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. You'll be a natural leader, having acted as a clinical mentor and supported newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship. Dedicated, ambitious, and resilient, you'll have a strong track record of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.
