TPF Recruitment is proud to represent a rapidly growing firm of Accountants and business advisors based in Reading, currently looking to hire an Accounts & Outsourcing Manager. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the financial outsourcing for a portfolio of clients, including bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts in accordance with UK GAAP.
* Ensure all monthly, quarterly, and year-end deliverables are completed to high-quality standards and deadlines are met.
* Lead and develop a team of direct reports, managing performance, setting goals, and providing ongoing training.
* Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.
* Onboard new clients, preparing proposals and engagement letters to ensure compliance.
Requirements
* Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), ideally with 3 years post-qualification experience.
* Proven experience managing and leading a team of 3 or more, including conducting one-to-one meetings and goal setting.
* Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals, including the production of statutory accounts under FRS 105 and 102, and consolidations.
* Solid understanding of VAT principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Experience with Xero, Dext, and CCH is a plus.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills, with good decision-making abilities and adaptability to changing deliverables.
* A team player who acts as a strong role model and helps all team members.
* Ability to review juniors' work, provide constructive feedback, and help them understand basic principles.
* Advise clients and the team on processing efficiencies.
* Lead client meetings and discuss basic corporation and personal tax rules, including dividend planning.
Benefits
* Salary Circa £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience and qualification status.

Requirements
For this fantastic Semi Senior opportunity in Wokingham, you may be an AAT studying, and/or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT, with a background in accountancy practice, with at least 2 - 4 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will be looking for a challenging, long term career move, at Accounts Semi Senior level, within a genuinely growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.
