For more information, visit www.pepsico.com As a Logistics Project Manager you will be managing capital projects and change initiatives within the UK Logistics network. You will be working alongside the Site Engineering Manager, you will need to plan and manage capital requests and execute to meet operational objectives on time and within budget. Responsibilities Manage project implementation within the logistics network. Ensure project performance objectives are delivered on time, with regard to site capacity and throughput. Manage project financials to deliver within budget. Short and long-term, project planning to hit project milestones. Day-to-day co-ordination of downtime and testing to minimise operational impact. Develop comms strategy and manage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation Risk management and mitigation for identified risks. Develop programme of front-line engagement and involvement. Develop operational business processes, operating manuals and associated training plans. Deliver projects to meet performance measures and operational KPI’s. Ensure compliance with risk management strategy; MESS, EHS and Food Defence (BRC). Qualifications Essential: Project management experience. High degree of organisational competence to manage multiple short and long term priorities. Problem solving skills and ability to make decisions in a high-pressure environment. Demonstrated leadership ability. Experience with budget and cost management processes. Adaptable to the changing needs of a challenging and fast paced operation. High degree of computer literacy with a good understanding of Excel and Powerpoint. Preferable: Proven project management skills. Experience with Capital process and writing compelling business cases. Experience with large-scale warehouse automation. FMCG Operations or Engineering background. Project management Qualification e.g. Prince2 certification.
