Job Summary:
The Head of Recruitment at TMG Mortgage Network will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that attracts top mortgage professionals and supports the network’s growth. This individual will lead and inspire, build partnerships across the organisation, and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience. They will play a key role in scaling TMG’s broker network, aligning recruitment efforts with strategic business goals, and fostering a diverse, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment Strategy Development: Design and implement a robust recruitment strategy to attract, engage, and retain high-quality mortgage professionals and support roles across TMG.
• Talent Pipeline Building: Proactively build a pipeline of top talent through networking, industry events, and partnerships with professional organisations, universities, and online platforms.
• Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless and positive experience for all candidates, from initial outreach through onboarding, by overseeing consistent communication and engagement.
• Employer Branding: Strengthen TMG’s employer brand by promoting the organisation’s values, culture, and benefits, positioning TMG as the network of choice in the mortgage industry.
• Data-Driven Recruitment: Utilise data and analytics to measure recruitment effectiveness, analyse trends, and inform decision-making for continuous improvement.
• Process Optimisation: Evaluate and enhance recruitment processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and the quality of hires, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Partnership Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to understand current and future talent needs, align recruitment strategies, and deliver timely staffing solutions.
• Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, workforce data, and competitor hiring practices to adapt recruitment strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in a recruitment role, ideally within the mortgage, finance, or financial services industry but not essential.
• Track record of developing and executing successful talent acquisition strategies that meet organisational growth objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
• In-depth knowledge of recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems, and candidate assessment methodologies.
• Strong commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within recruitment practices.
• Data-driven approach to decision-making, with an ability to interpret recruitment metrics and analytics.
