JOB DESCRIPTION IQVIA Medical Communications is seeking an Associate Creative Director experienced in delivering consistent and predictable outcomes in the life sciences learning and communications domain. This role is responsible for creating and development of various media for training solutions and medical communications to establish both an immersive and engaging training experiences. About The Position In this role, the Associate Creative Director will be responsible for overseeing the creative process from conception to delivery, ensuring that all projects meet the clients' needs and objectives while also pushing the boundaries of creativity and innovation. The Associate Creative Director will work closely with the design team to develop and execute creative concepts and ensure that all projects are on brand and on strategy. In addition to leading the creative process, the Associate Creative Director will also play a key role in developing and nurturing strong relationships with clients. As the primary point of contact for our clients, the Associate Creative Director will be responsible for managing client expectations and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and on budget. Key Activities - Lead and manage creative teams, setting clear goals, expectations, and performance standards. - Collaborate with senior leadership to define overarching creative objectives and strategies. - Develop and execute creative strategies that drive brand success and deliver innovative solutions, utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office for presentations. - Provide creative direction, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members, emphasizing proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. - Play a key role in pitch presentations, client interactions, and business development efforts, utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office for presentations. - Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources. - Stay updated on industry trends, market insights, and emerging technologies to inform creative strategies. - Driving a culture that promotes and fosters creative and professional growth. - Responsible for the QA process to ensure high quality work. Educational Requirements - Bachelor's degree from a 2 year or 4-year institution specifically for Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Qualifications - 8-9 years' experience as graphic designer either in-house, freelance or in an agency setting. - Must have a strong portfolio representing a diverse skill set in graphic design. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Good problem-solving skills - Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timelines. - Excellent customer service skills - Sound judgment and decision-making skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients. - Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical industry, including medical affairs, clinical development is helpful. - Knowledge of scientific and medical publications strategy and development a plus Who You Are Experienced : You have experience as a graphic designer ideally within the pharmaceutical, medical or training arena.
