The Role
of Maintenance Engineer will include the following responsibilities:
1. Following a thorough Pre Planned Maintenance system on all of the Automated Machinery on site
2. Completing any Reactive Maintenance that’s needed, responding to Mechanical and Electrical breakdowns within a timely manor and repaired to a high standard.
3. Getting involved with project work aimed at improving the efficiencies of machines
4. Working safely within Electrical Panels, Fault Finding using a Multi-Meter and following all LOTO procedures
5. Mechanically working with: Bearings, Gearboxes, Rollers, Bearings, Belts, Hydraulics,
6. Working within a team of 7 Engineers that are focused on finding the Root Cause of issues and Engineering these issues out
The Candidate:
The right candidate for this position of Maintenance Engineer will have the following:
7. Confidence working safely Electrically on Industrial Three Phase Systems
8. Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer on machinery in a factory setting
9. Work well within a team environment or alone
10. Experience with making improvements to machinery
11. Be able to follow a strong PPM system, ensuring that breakdowns are kept to a minimum and OEE maximised
