Company Overview:\n\nWe are working on behalf of a respected MEP contractor with a strong track record delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and plumbing packages across a range of sectors — including residential, commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects.\n\nDue to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in MEP to join the team and support the successful delivery of projects across [Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, London].\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Manage the commercial aspects of MEP packages from procurement through to final accounts\n\n * \n\n Prepare and submit interim valuations and applications for payment\n\n * \n\n Conduct cost analysis, risk management, and value engineering\n\n * \n\n Measure and value works in accordance with contract requirements\n\n * \n\n Review subcontractor packages, orders, and variations\n\n * \n\n Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate reporting\n\n * \n\n Assist with procurement of subcontractors and materials\n\n * \n\n Monitor and control project budgets, cash flow and cost forecasting\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within MEP/building services\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (domestic and commercial)\n\n * \n\n Familiarity with NEC or JCT contracts\n\n * \n\n Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills\n\n * \n\n Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills\n\n * \n\n IT literate (Excel, project software, estimating tools, etc.)\n\n * \n\n Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline)\n\nDesirable:\n\n * \n\n Experience with high-value or complex building services projects\n\n * \n\n Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team\n\n * \n\n Local knowledge of suppliers/subcontractors in [Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, London
