ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise a team of Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to ensure high-quality care delivery in the field. Conduct regular field visits for performance assessments and provide feedback and guidance to HCAs. Allocate tasks and rota management, ensuring effective scheduling of care staff. Provide hands-on care to clients when necessary (20% of the role). Maintain care records, update care plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (80% admin work). Assist in recruiting, training, and developing new care staff to maintain a skilled and competent team. Support the management team with audits, compliance checks, and reporting. Liaise with clients and families to address concerns and ensure client satisfaction. Respond to emergencies and provide on-call support when required. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (required). A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Field Care Supervisor or similar role. Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle. PREFERRED SKILLS Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for both client-facing and team interactions. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Solid understanding of care industry standards and regulations. Proficiency in MS Office and other care management software. ADDITIONAL NOTES Salary: £28,750 per annum,( £30,000 from April ) 40-hour work week – Across 5 Days. Working hours: Either 7am-3:30pm or 10:30am-7pm, Monday to Friday. Office-based in Gerrards Cross with 20% care work and 80% admin/field work
