About the Role
A new opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Lawyer with 3+ years’ PQE to join a well-established and growing team. The firm is recognised for its commitment to high standards in client care and has a strong reputation in handling complex Professional Deputyship and Personal Injury Trust matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to take ownership of a varied caseload, working closely with senior team members in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
* Managing a caseload of Professional Deputyship and Personal Injury Trust matters with minimal supervision.
* Acting for clients who have suffered acquired brain injuries and received substantial damages to fund their ongoing care and needs.
* Providing expert legal advice on Court of Protection and Personal Injury Trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
* Supporting the department’s growth through business development and marketing initiatives.
* Ensuring Lexcel compliance and maintaining up-to-date knowledge in relevant legal areas.
* Mentoring and delegating tasks to junior team members where appropriate.
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE.
* Strong technical expertise in Court of Protection and Personal Injury Trusts.
* Excellent client care skills, with the ability to manage sensitive cases empathetically. Ability to work autonomously while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
* Strong time management and business development skills, with experience in networking.
