This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior-lead Commercial project professional to be an integral part of delivering our Project Union Business plan. Project Union (the Project) aims to create a hydrogen transmission network in Great Britain to transport 100% hydrogen by repurposing existing gas transmission network infrastructure with minimal new infrastructure by the early 2030s.
Our current phase of Project Union will look at phasing strategy, pre-Front End Engineering and Design (pre-FEED) activities and hydrogen enabling activities over a 12-month period in 2024. Based out of our new North Nottingham Hub, our team is committed to working with the government and our partners to deliver this vision, and early phasing of our Project Union will be a critical enabler of the ambition outlined.
Our early build-out of regional hydrogen networks, connecting production and demand to suitable storage at scale by the early 2030s, will support the growth of a nation-wide hydrogen network. Our East Coast Hydrogen Delivery Plan demonstrates our plan to connect the Teesside and Humber regions in the first phase of Project Union.
