Temporary Receptionist (Milton Keynes)
We are supporting our global client in finding a Temporary Receptionist for their Milton Keynes site for a minimum of six months.
Location: Onsite
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary: £16.41 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the organisation's first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring professional communication.
* Receive and direct calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
* Welcome visitors, maintain proper sign-in documentation, and follow safety procedures.
* Handle all incoming and outgoing mail requirements, including courier services, and manage the maintenance of the postage machine as needed.
* Schedule appointments, meetings, and book conference rooms.
* Order lunch for employees and visitors as required.
* Manage the office supplies stockroom, place orders, and maintain effective administration.
* Contact vendors and suppliers as needed to communicate plant/site shutdowns and other disruptions in service.
* Maintain badges for new hires, contractors, and visitors.
* Support administrative projects as assigned.
* Provide other administrative support activities as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Act as the Site Emergency Response Coordinator.
* Ensure training is up-to-date for first aiders and fire marshals.
* Manage the pool car booking system and ensure regular checks are carried out.
Candidate Specification:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Customer focus, with the ability to build strong relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a reception or administration-based role.
