Finance Business Partner - Central Functions & Steam IS
Location: Cheltenham, UK (Hybrid working)

Role Overview:
The Finance Business Partner will be a key strategic business partner and advisor for the designated business areas, developing and implementing financial strategies that align with and support Steam and Group goals and objectives to maximise returns.
As a trusted partner, the post-holder will provide leadership and challenge to deliver the business strategy and financial results.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on:
* Line management responsibilities for 3 direct reports, ensuring their successful achievement of objectives and to enhance and develop the team’s overall capabilities and expertise.
* Ownership of business area budgets and forecast reporting and associated processes.
* Regular review and reporting performance against plan and latest forecast, working with the business to analyse financial and operational variances and recommend corrective action to ensure delivery of commitments.
* Oversight of monthly management reporting for business areas, including internal reporting submission to Group.
* Development, implementation and maintenance of financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
* Collaborating with key operational heads to provide financial insights and analysis.
Your previous experience is likely to include:
* Significant post-qualification experience in a finance department of a commercial organisation.
* Proficiency in Financial software and tools.
* Demonstrable excel skills to an advanced level for data analysis, financial modelling and reporting.
* Strategic financial planning.
