Experienced Quantity Surveyor sought for utilities infrastructure projects. Manage financial aspects, ensure budgets and contractual obligations are met.
Key responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, conducting cost analysis, measuring and negotiating contract variations, and monitoring project progress.
* Preparing and managing cost estimates and project budgets.
* Conducting detailed cost analysis and risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
* Measuring, valuing, and negotiating contract variations.
* Assisting in procurement, including the selection of contractors and suppliers.
* Preparing tender documents, contracts, bills of quantities, and other relevant documentation.
* Monitoring project progress and providing financial reporting to senior management.
* Negotiating contracts and managing client relationships.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
* Conducting post-completion audits and final accounts for completed projects.
Requirements include a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, and strong knowledge of NEC or JCT contracts.
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the utilities sector.
* Strong knowledge of NEC or JCT contracts.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* A full UK driving licence.
Desirable qualifications include membership of a recognised professional body and experience working with public utility companies or contractors.

Benefits include a salary of circa £60,000 per annum, company car or car allowance, and 28 days annual leave rising to 33 days including bank holidays.
