Technical Sales Specialist - Electrical Markets National £56,000 basic uncapped bonus 6 months guaranteed commission This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Specialist to join a leading organisation in the Electrical Markets Division, covering the UK & Ireland. In this role, you will collaborate with innovative professionals globally and contribute to business growth by developing strategies and engaging with key stakeholders. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans for Construction & Industrial (C&I) and utility contractors across the UK & Ireland in coordination with the Power Utility (PU) Account Manager and EMEA PU and C&I Business Development Managers. Drive demand generation at targeted PU specialist electrical contractors, installers, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies, fostering relationships with leading engineering and construction firms. Collaborate across functions to create and execute lead opportunities and training sessions for low and medium voltage cable accessory solutions, working closely with contractors, end-users, EPCs, electrical contractors, and selected distributors. Coordination with Channel, Marketing, and Application Engineering teams will be crucial for market expansion and approvals. Identify and develop opportunities for the products offering within the growing solar and BESS industry, utilising technology to identify new business, enhance customer relationships, attend industry events, and participate in thought leadership initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at multiple levels, influencing their perception of high-tech value solutions (e.g., Joints, SCA) to reduce total cost of ownership and increase market share. Promote new product introductions to drive growth, expand market share, and secure critical approvals in core industry sectors. Engage with technical and policy teams within customer organisations to obtain necessary product approvals, deliver demonstrations, and coordinate fitting trials. Requirements: Proven business acumen and a strong sales approach, balancing short- and long-term sales cycles through key account management. Capability to respond efficiently and professionally in a high-pressure commercial environment. Knowledge of electrical products and/or a proven track record in sales roles.
