Practitioner (Clinical or Counselling) Psychologist: Band 7-8a development post, Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team), 0.5WTE
This is an exciting opportunity for a recently or soon to be qualified clinical or counselling psychologist to undertake a band 7-8a preceptorship role in CWPT. This development post will be based with the North Warwickshire CRHTT in Nuneaton.
We welcome applications from third year trainees due to qualify this year.
Working as a psychologist in CRHTT is a fantastic use of a psychologist’s skills and no 2 days are the same. If you are interested in working at different levels of systems, providing direct clinical work as well as consultation, supervision, and getting involved in new initiatives to improve service user experience, then please call us to talk further. We do not have targets for contacts, we do not have waiting lists, and we work closely with our MDT colleagues. Practitioner Psychologists are an integral part of the team, engaging in co-production with staff, as well as people who use our service. We are particularly keen to hear from those people who have a strong recovery ethos, and/or who have experience of and a passion for working in crisis settings, and who are keen to collaborate at all levels of the system.
At Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT), we deliver a wide range of physical, mental health, learning disability and autism services, and are proud to serve communities across Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond.
We put ‘people at our heart’; this ethos is at the centre of everything we do and how we do it. We care for our staff and colleagues as much as they care for others and offer a wide range of benefits and development opportunities.
These Include:
* Generous annual leave entitlement which increases during your time with us.
* Excellent learning and development opportunities, including apprenticeship frameworks, distance learning, internal training, coaching and mentoring, and much more.
* Salary sacrifice schemes for lease car/vehicle, Cycle to Work, home and electronics, gym membership and more.
* Discounts with a range of retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues through our Employee Assistance Programme and NHS discount schemes.
* Wellbeing support, including an in-house counselling service, external helpline and more.
* Staff networks and support groups.
We’re always on the lookout for people who share our passion for improving the lives and wellbeing of people in our community, as well as our values of compassion, collaboration, excellence, integrity and respect.
