Consultant in Anaesthesia (Paediatric Anaesthesia) (Consultant) - Anaesthetics - Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – Norwich, Norfolk
Applications are invited for a full time Consultant in Anaesthesia with a special interest in Paediatric Anaesthesia. The successful applicant would join a team of 7 (FTE) paediatric subspecialty anaesthetists who undertake a mix of paediatric and adult practice and cover a paediatric anaesthetic on call rota.
A candidate who is unable for personal reasons to undertake the duties of a whole-time post will receive equal consideration. If such a candidate is appointed the job content will be modified as appropriate in consultation with consultant colleagues and local management.
The appointee will take his/her share of clinical responsibilities within the Department of anaesthesia. This will include provision for peri-operative assessment.
In addition to duties within sub-speciality, the appointee will be required to provide anaesthesia for adult patients in all specialties as appropriate to his/her training and experience.
There is an on-call commitment of approximately 1:7. Full GMC with licence to practise required on application.
