Job summary We are delighted to be able to recruit to our Anti-Coagulation team to support our patients at MFT. The hours of work will be Monday - Friday, worked usually between 08:00-17:00. Main duties of the job An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12 month secondment for a Band 6 Anticoagulation Specialist Nurse to cover maternity leave. The anticoagulation team are highly specialised in the care of patients within WTWA who are currently receiving oral or parenteral anticoagulation treatment. The post holder will be required to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00. Interested candidates should have highly effective interpersonal skills including the ability to work with a diverse team of professionals. Candidates should also be able to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels, have excellent organisational skills and the ability to use their own initiative. You must be a team player with exemplary communication and interpersonal skills. You will be committed to the support and development of self and others and driven and motivated to work collaboratively in order to achieve the highest standards of care for our patients. Ideally, you will be in possession of the non-medical prescribing qualification, although if not, the right candidate will be supported to do this once fully trained.
