Senior Retail Sales Advisor
Location: Herne Bay
Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday with Saturday on a rota)

We are thrilled to announce that we are due to open a brand new Brewers Decorator Centre in Herne Bay in Autumn 2023 and we have a very exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Retail Sales Advisor, who is passionate about providing the highest levels of customer service to lead this new team and develop sales in our new store!
Experience with our products isn't necessary; if you have experience in retail, have the drive and motivation to do a great job, and can bring exceptional customer service and team working skills to the table, we'll give you everything else you need to succeed. Our brand new store can be found on Altira Business Park and will stock an extensive product range including trade and designer paint brands.
As a Senior Retail Sales Advisor with Brewers, some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Assist the Branch Manager with developing the branch and the team including deputising in their absence
2. Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service
3. Have keyholder responsibilities, cashing up and associated supervisory tasks
4. Allocate work to the team, keeping them motivated and driven
5. Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
6. Planning and agreeing sales forecasts with the Branch Manager in line with Company targets
7. Ensuring orders and enquiries are dealt with and followed up on promptly
8. Mix paint for Customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network
9. Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and provide a comprehensive service
10. Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales
11. Assisting with stock maintenance in the branch
Who we are looking for to join our team:
1. Experience in a retail environment, ideally in a team leader or supervisory role
2. Exceptional customer service and communication skills
3. Highly motivated with the drive to succeed
4. Approachable, possessing an open and friendly personality
5. Ability to motivate and inspire colleagues
6. Enjoys working and supporting a team
7. Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider if required
8. Ideally lives within a close proximity to the store
9. An interest in our industry or some product knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
