The opportunity with NRC
Network Rail Consulting is currently offering an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Graduate to join our growing established and successful team. We are seeking a Graduate looking for a career within Track Engineering/Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS), with the opportunity to be part of a broader consultancy offering. This post is available in 2025 in our Washington DC location.
Our Graduate Program:
The NRC Graduate Development Programme (GDP) has been developed to shape our graduates over the course of their first 3 years, into well balanced and learned professionals that are highly sought after by their colleagues and clients. The GDP and the follow-on 3-year Emerging Professionals Program (EPP) both consist of learning and recognition dimensions that align with the 70-20-10 rule, where effective learning comes from:
1. 70% of knowledge from job-related experiences.
2. 20% from interactions with others;
3. 10% coursework and training.
You will work with a diverse pool of talented individuals as well as gain exposure across a diverse project-based business. About You
Applicants should:
* Have recently acquired a Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited institution in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
* Have excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
* Work well within a team, take direction from other senior staff members, be able to multi-task on a variety of work assignments, and meet deadlines.
