Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers are looking to develop our engineering resource aligned against the client's "Campus" facility in leafy Cheshire countryside, a short drive outside of Knutsford.
In brief, site consists of a collection of corporate buildings, leisure facilities and other amenities, surrounded by well kept grounds, with new builds under construction plus refurb works
The client are a global corporate banking organisation, and this site is classed as a "Mission Critical" facility, pivotal to their UK operation, and so the estate consists of "Critical" engineering systems, LV, HV and HVAC
Here, working with other Maintenance Engineers, you will complete planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems, such as emergency lighting, power, switchgear, distribution boards. You will also have the chance to work on HV, including UPS, Generators etc.
While you are largely site based here in Knutsford, there will be irregular need to cover further afield, for which you are given a company van
This is a fantastic role for a confident Electrician looking to advance your maintenance skills on a world class site, involved with a global client
Actions will include:
* To carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated electrical systems.
* Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
* To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the electrical aspects of the PPM and plant.
* To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all electrically related reactive maintenance issues, and help desk requests.
* Carry out technical surveys of the above services and systems, reporting findings to the Senior critical engineering manager (SCEM). Producing list costs of material required for any minor works required.
* To co-ordinate initial actions associated with all requests from the client. Dealing with customer enquiries and complaints, reporting actions taken to line management.
* Undertake follow up actions required to resolve situational circumstances for which you have been authorised to undertake.
* Be an active participant in reviewing existing and implementing new techniques to enhance the service to our Clients.
* Electrical fault diagnosis associated with the PPM or Reactive maintenance of the site.
* Carry out minor installation work to the above services and systems.
We need from you:
* Full electrical qualifications, including 2391, and some maintenance experience
