We have an exciting opening within our Accommodation team at Time Stop as an Accommodation Night Worker. We are looking for a passionate and professional person to support residents aged 16-25 during their time with us. At Time Stop, we offer accommodation and support for young people at risk of homelessness in Peterborough.
Job Role
Accommodation Night Workers oversee the safety of our residents, staff, and premises.
You will have and be able to demonstrate the following qualities:
* Experience of working with young people with complex needs, although not necessarily in a housing context
* Experience of dealing directly with clients
* Ability to work within a reactive environment
* A good level of education and good interpersonal and organisational skills
* Able to interact with people from varied backgrounds
* Excellent communication skills, able to work as part of a team, working unsociable hours
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour and interact with young people in a positive and confident manner
In accordance with safer recruitment processes, many of the roles we recruit for require successful candidates to undertake an appropriate criminal record background check. Days and hours
You will be contracted to work 40 hours a week, on a rota basis: 4 days on and 4 days off, 10pm - 8am with weekends and public holidays included in the shift rota.
Salary and Benefits
Annual salary is £23,795.20.
