A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon role at a well respected practice in the town of Hailsham, East Sussex; a growing town close to an area of natural outstanding beauty with excellent train links to Brighton and London.
Our client has been established in the area for over 65 years offering high quality animal care to pets of all shapes and sizes. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their hard working and dedicated team of 5.5 Veterinary Surgeons, 6.2 RVN's and 8 support staff. The role is varied with medical and surgical work shared amongst the team, ensuring you have maximum clinical exposure.
This PSS accredited practice is well equipped with excellent facilities such as digital x-ray, high quality ultrasound, dental x-ray, iM3 dental station and up to date anaesthetic monitoring. They also have their own in-house laboratory which includes a full range of Idexx analysers, and a separate cat ward and isolation areas.
You must be a qualified Vet with experience in a small animal practice. You need to be cheerful and motivated, with a drive and enthusiasm to fit into a friendly working environment. Working effectively on an individual basis as well as part of a team is an essential skill. You will be joining a practice who is committed to the support and development of its staff and has been awarded the Investor in People' status for over 17 years.
Driving between practices is highly possible so a full drivers' licence is essential. OV experience would also be beneficial.
The Rota:
• Full time - Part time role considered
• 4 day week
• 1:4 Saturdays with the following Friday afternoon off
• No OOH or bank holidays
