Part-Time Finance Manager (3 days per week) | TV and Film SME | Andover/Hybrid
The Client
Our client is a pioneer in the TV and Film industry- offering unrivalled production support and cinematography services to some of the biggest, household name films and franchises.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance function, including preparing management accounts, general bookkeeping, and managing and improving the finance and accounting processes. Additionally, expense processing, liaising with clients on invoicing and credit control matters, and supporting external accountants with year-end and payroll will fall within your remit.
Reporting to the founders and working alongside a talented Fractional CFO, you’ll be tasked with overseeing the operational finance function of the business. This is a great part-time opportunity for you to contribute to a high-performing, well respected small business in the TV and Film space and really see and recognize the value you add to the team.
This is a part-time role, working 3 days a week. The client is based in Andover and expects at least 1 day in-office.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain the day-to-day finance function
* Prepare monthly management accounts
* Processing invoices and expenses
* Track and update monthly forecasts and cashflow analysis
* Manage expenses, performing reconciliations, and filing VAT returns
* Handle the month end close, including accruals and prepayments
* Liaise with external accountants for year-end process and payroll
* Serve as point of contact for clients, customers, and freelancers on accounting queries
* Identify process improvements
* Ad hoc tasks to support the Founders and the Fractional CFO
What we need to see (required):
* Previous experience in or a passion for the media/creative/marketing/PR/events industry
* Experience supporting an SME in a similar capacity
Part-Time: 3 days/week
