Marks Sattin is working with a dynamic organization seeking an IT Internal Audit Manager to join their Internal Audit team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and progression of a business undergoing transformation. The successful candidate will be part of a team that plays a key role in ensuring the delivery of a range of audits, including IT subject areas and non-audit tasks.
The IT Internal Audit Manager will report to the Head of Internal Audit and will be responsible for conducting audits, delivering clear and structured documentation of findings, and working collaboratively with senior stakeholders. This will involve planning and managing end-to-end audit execution, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and presenting audit outputs at Executive management and Board level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage audit execution: Oversee the entire audit process, focusing on IT subject areas and IT Change projects.
* Plan assurance engagements: Develop activities for assurance engagements with a strong focus on complex routes.
* Contribute to findings: Offer expert judgment and recommendations to findings related to IT risks, written in a clear and concise manner.
* Pro-actively identify opportunities: Support the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement within the Internal Audit team.
* Maintain relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, presenting audit outputs at Executive management and Board level.
* Support the Head of Internal Audit: Collaborate with the Head of Internal Audit and the wider audit team to deliver high-quality audit outputs.
Requirements:
* IT expertise: Possess a strong understanding of end-to-end audits, IT knowledge, and data analytics skills.
* Leadership and collaboration: Demonstrate the ability to lead and manage audits independently, with a high level of motivation and attention to detail.
* Professional qualifications: Hold a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, IIA, CISA, CISM, or CISPP.
