About the job:
Our Recruitment team is responsible for delivering an end-to-end recruitment service across the business to include Customer Service, Operations, Engineering and HQ functions. As a seasoned Recruitment Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering innovative recruitment plans, attracting diverse talent at all levels and driving our people agenda.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Work with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and create appropriate attraction recruitment plans.
* Writing engaging job adverts and evaluating the effectiveness of recruitment activity.
* Design and facilitate suitable interview and assessment methods.
* Conduct/support interviews when required.
* Support building employer brand awareness in the market
* Proactively gather market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methods.
* Maintain candidate data and the full lifecycle recruitment process via the applicant tracking system (eArcu).
Candidate and Stakeholder Relationship:
* Partner with key business stakeholders across GWR network
* Advise hiring managers and interview panels on interviewing best practices focussing on driving diversity in our hires
* Work closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to advise on clear and effective job descriptions
* Develop and maintain a strong relationship with candidates to keep them engaged through the hiring process
* Advise on market and industry trends
About you
You'll need to be agile and flexible in your approach and are able to deal with changing priorities. You'll enjoy engaging with both candidates and hiring managers and the wider HR community. Weather written or verbal, you'll have adaptable communications skills to suit your audience across all levels of the business.
Ideally you will have:
* Experience of leading and delivering Recruitment activity in the volume and/or specialist space with an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) lens
* Knowledge of all relevant labour laws including the Equality Act 2010
* Experience of managing an end-to-end recruitment process (including conducting psychometric assessments) in a large, complex business
* Level A&B certificates of Occupational Test use desirable
About the location: The role is based in Swindon, but we welcome applications from across the Network. There may be some travel involved as part of the role.
Working Pattern: 37 hrs a week
