You would be working in a hybrid working environment, working mostly from home with occasional visits to our modern hybrid-working officer environments when needed. Training may require more visits to the office spaces initially.
The role will require you to get involved in all the aspects of Parking Services back office processing. You will be responsible for investigating, assessing and responding to all informal and formal representations made against parking and moving traffic violation Penalty Charge Notices, following agreed criteria and taking action within the correct time frames and taking personal responsibility for the progression of Penalty Charge Notices through set procedures to an appropriate outcome.
You must have excellent analytical, scrutiny & public liaison skills and be able to provide a professional primary point of contact for the service, in writing, by e-mail, by telephone and where appropriate face to face. Additionally, you will be required to provide support to senior members of the team in cases that have progressed through to the Traffic Penalty Tribunal or our debt enforcement agency partners and assist in the administration of the department's paper & digital permitting systems.
