We are recruiting a candidate to join a cross functional global team within the Markets Operations - COO organization. The team is responsible for creating, monitoring, and improving the Middle Office OTC post-trade regulatory governance framework and works closely with Cross Asset Middle Offices, Risk & Control, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and IA partners to ensure effective implementation and governance of applicable rules. The ideal candidate has the ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple teams internally and externally to ensure that queries are understood and addressed in a timely manner. They are proactive and organized in the identification and tracking of risks and issues, ensuring appropriate escalation processes and timelines are followed, to drive and deliver improvements where issues are identified. They are able to work collaboratively across time zones and partner with implementation teams to develop and continually improve our controls. Lastly, they have the ability to create, maintain and enhance procedures and process documents to ensure the regulatory framework is robust & efficient. Responsibilities: - Develop regulatory controls and governance frameworks to ensure timely and accurate reporting of data to our regulators on behalf of Citi, including partnering with Ops, Tech, Transformation, IA, Compliance, and Legal - Oversight and management of Regulatory changes - BoW management working with technology to deliver all required changes/enhancements. - Continually identify and develop areas of improvement and evolve best practices - Ongoing regulatory exception monitoring with production of Management Information - Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
