Transformation Manager | 6-Month Contract | Public Sector | £500 per day | Hybrid - London
We are currently partnered with a prestigious Public Sector client, seeking an experienced Transformation Manager to lead a critical digital and cultural change program within their Planning Department. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in one of London's most diverse and historically rich boroughs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a comprehensive transformation program, focusing on digital modernisation and cultural change
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery
* Manage multiple work streams, including digital solutions implementation and staff development initiatives
* Engage with senior stakeholders to drive change and ensure program alignment with council priorities
* Oversee the development of new digital platforms, including potential AI and chatbot solutions
* Create and implement career progression frameworks to enhance staff retention and development
Requirements:
* Proven experience in leading medium to large-scale transformation programs
* Strong background in programme management and stakeholder engagement
* Expertise in driving cultural change within complex organisations
* Knowledge of digital transformation principles and implementation
* Public sector experience highly desirable
* Understanding of planning processes and legislation beneficial
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams
Contract Details:
* 6-month initial contract with potential for extension
* £500 per day (depending on experience)
* Minimum 2 days per week in office, with flexibility for remote working
* Start date: March 2025
