Site Manager - SSSTS
Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire, MK40 4LU
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7.00am - 7.00pm, working alternate Saturdays with a day off in the week.
Contract: 4 month contract position

Dedicated engineering services for the food and beverage, automotive, and aerospace industries, the company has tailored specialist engineering solutions to many of the world's largest manufacturers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join the Projects Team supporting a pipework and equipment installation project in Bedford.
Duties:
1. Manage the day-to-day site activities from site set up to hand over of a process pipework and plant installation project valued at approximately £5m.
2. Work alongside the project manager to manage in-house and subcontract resources allocated to the project.
3. Compile risk assessments and method statements for site installations.
4. Carry out site inductions and manage/issue work permits.
5. Complete daily reports and ensure all works are completed in line with the company's Health and Safety procedures.
6. Deal with contractor queries and H&S aspects, along with coordinating the CDM scope of works.
About You:
Based ideally in Bedfordshire, you will need to live within a commutable distance of MK40 4LU.
Demonstrable experience as a site manager, preferably within the food industry, with particular knowledge of food safe standards, health and safety standards, and construction design and management.
Qualifications: 1st Aid, SMSTS or SSSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH
Compensation:
In return, you will receive a daily rate between £400.00 and £430.00 per day paid Limited Company or CIS.
