Account Manager

Description
Your role as Account Manager is to be responsible for executing the UK sales strategy within clearly defined markets, by targeting existing customers to upsell and cross-sell the Company’s products and services. You will take a determined approach to retain and grow the existing customer base, achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Achieve and exceed revenue and activity targets
2. Execute and drive sales strategy to achieve sales objectives
3. Action all inbound leads within 24-hours (Monday – Friday)
4. Identify leads and qualify likelihood of conversion, make outbound cold calls, and build interest in products and solutions, meet with prospects within existing accounts, and ask effective questions to establish business needs and opportunities
5. Identify client buying signs, negotiate sound opportunities and recognize signals to close from key decision makers and influencers
6. Understand the client’s organization structure, business model, and strategies to align with the sales process
7. Develop bid strategy and identify key actions to be taken during the proposal process and articulate the client’s requirements
8. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline in line with business targets
9. Maintain accurate records through Salesforce and other CRM systems to ensure a thorough understanding of a customer and their engagement
10. Effectively demonstrate the company products and services to prospective customers
11. Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders including account/relationship managers to ensure effective coverage & management of new accounts
12. Utilize sales methodologies as directed by the business
13. Leverage relationships with industry partners to maximize sales opportunities
14. Manage individual travel and expenses in line with expense policy and maximize opportunity development in travel locations
15. Attend and contribute to periodic sales training and internal sales meetings
16. Attend and contribute to various functions and trade events as required
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
1. At least 3 years’ experience with a proven successful track record in B2B sales and account management, preferably in conveyancing/legal or professional services industry.
2. Proven ability to problem-solve on the go, and provide solutions that are aligned with the client’s needs
3. Demonstrated ability to build wide and effective networks of contacts
4. Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
5. Established experience in holding commercial meetings with all levels including senior executives and translating their business needs into a complete solution
6. Experience using Salesforce and other tools to support a successful Sales team
7. Demonstrated ability to convert and close sales deals and achieve sales quotas
8. Experience in a recognized sales methodology is essential
9. Track record working as part of a team to meet individual and team objectives
