Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and demonstrate the ability to diagnose and repair various types of machinery. This role is crucial in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Duties
1. Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.
2. Diagnose mechanical issues through observation and testing.
3. Replace or repair defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
4. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
7. Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in mechanics.
Skills
1. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
2. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
3. Excellent understanding of mechanical systems and principles.
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
5. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.
6. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
7. A relevant qualification or certification in mechanics is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
