We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically-minded Internal Technical Sales/Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This hybrid role will involve both technical support and internal sales functions, serving as a key link between our customers, sales team, and engineering department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of VSDs and motor control systems, along with a proactive approach to customer service and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support for VSD-related enquiries from customers, distributors, and field engineers.
Interpret customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions, product selections, and quotations.
Work closely with external sales engineers to prepare proposals and support ongoing projects.
Assist in the sizing, selection, and configuration of VSDs and related equipment (e.g., motors, control panels, harmonic filters, etc.).
Respond to technical queries via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VSD products, industry standards, and applications.
Support with customer training, product demonstrations, and internal technical documentation.
Liaise with the engineering team on complex solutions and product development feedback.
Track and manage customer support cases using internal CRM or support tools.
Contribute to continuous improvement in the customer experience and internal processes.
