An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Business, Performance and Digitalisation Manager to join the highly successful Continuing Healthcare Team in Somerset. This role is essential to manage the business, performance and digital arm of the Continuing Healthcare service.

Main duties of the job
* To hold responsibility for the non-clinical function of Continuing Healthcare and care sector services.
* Produce and present regular data reports as required; and be responsible for data validity for the Continuing Healthcare service.
* The post holder will have overall responsibility for managing the collation, analysis and presentation of monthly Key Performance Indicator performance data.
* The post holder will also be required to work with and be directed by the Associate Director and Head of Continuing Healthcare to deliver on the attainment of key financial and performance initiatives.
* The post holder will hold responsibility for the management of a variety of digital data systems within the Continuing Healthcare team.

Job responsibilities
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role is essential to manage the business, performance and digital arm of Continuing Healthcare. The post holder will also have responsibility to manage, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology primarily to support the attainment of Continuing Healthcare performance metrics targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* To hold responsibility for the non-clinical function of Continuing Healthcare and care sector services.
* Produce and present regular data reports as required; and be responsible for data validity for the Continuing Healthcare service.
* The post holder will have overall responsibility for managing the collation, analysis and presentation of monthly Key Performance Indicator performance data.
* The post holder will also be required to work with and be directed by the Associate Director and Head of Continuing Healthcare to deliver on the attainment of key financial and performance initiatives.
* The post holder will hold responsibility for the management of a variety of digital data systems within the Continuing Healthcare team.
* The post holder will be responsible for the line management of the non-clinical arm of the CHC Team managers.
* To work directly with the Finance Lead where appropriate to support reporting on key areas of performance.
* To provide high quality project, service, initiative and support to the assessment and leadership team.
* To provide the CHC Management Team with innovative service improvements options.
* To support wider service improvement measures within the directorate and wider ICB as directed.
* To manage, maintain and develop administrative services within the Continuing Healthcare Team.
* The post holder will be required to have an excellent knowledge of specialised IT systems and platforms.
* To be able to manipulate and evaluate complex data using various statistical techniques.
* To ensure that all data collation and analysis supports and adheres to governance requirements.
* Develop CHC efficiency reports to inform and assure ICB leadership.
* To develop and establish a collaborative working relationship with Somerset ICBs performance and Business Intelligence teams.
* Participate in relevant wider ICB working groups/projects.
* Communicate information and issues to any party of interest both internal and external to the ICB.
* Maintaining awareness of strategic developments within the Somerset system.
* Communicate business-sensitive information from NHS staff at all levels of the organisation as required.
* Develop and implement business processes which impact across the CHC service delivery.
* Reporting any concerns or presenting risks in a timely and effective manner.
* At all times encourage and develop a patient-focused service.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to degree or equivalent level
* Excellent Keyboard / Computer Skills (minimum CLAIT or equivalent)
* Project Management Qualification
Experience
* Excellent ability to drive transformation, development and improvement.
* Excellent working knowledge of all MS Office applications.
* Excellent working knowledge of databases.
* Excellent working knowledge of financial invoicing and related software applications.
* Excellent knowledge of the management of data systems and reporting.
* Clear understanding of the relationship between the Department of Health, NHS England and the ICB.
