Location: East London
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: Circa £70,000 per annum
Accountable To: Responsible Individuals and Operational Directors
Are you an experienced Registered Manager ready for a new challenge in leading a children's residential service? Leader Group, on behalf of a prominent client, is seeking a passionate and committed individual to fill the role of Registered Manager.
Role Overview
As the Residential Children's Registered Manager, you will:
* Champion Excellence: Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality care and outstanding outcomes for young people.
* Ofsted Registration: Successfully register with Ofsted and ensure continuous compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
* Safeguarding Leadership: Uphold and advance safeguarding and child protection practices within the service.
* Leadership & Management: Provide strong and effective leadership, fostering a culture of engagement and continuous development among staff.
* Resource Optimisation: Efficiently manage resources, ensuring optimal service delivery.
* Stakeholder Communication: Maintain excellent communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
* Financial Accountability: Manage financial performance to meet and exceed targets.
* Continuous Improvement: Lead a culture focused on continuous improvement and best practices.
* Innovation: Proactively seek and implement innovative solutions to maintain a resilient and sustainable service.
* Celebrate Success: Acknowledge, celebrate, and share success within the team.
Key Requirements
* Legislative Knowledge: Deep understanding of relevant legislation and Ofsted regulations.
* Experience: At least 2 years of experience working within Children's Homes in the last 5 years, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
* Ofsted Registration: Current or previous registration with Ofsted as a Registered Manager (preferred).
* Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and management abilities.
* Qualifications: Level 5 Qualification in Health and Social Care or Leadership and Management (preferred).
