Network Architect
Location: Basingstoke – 5 days a week – Office based

Your Role
We are looking for a Network Architect to work as part of a multi-skilled agile team, including security, service, and management.
Your role will involve providing varied and complex technical support activities as part of project deployment, including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and maintenance. You will advise project SMEs on preventive maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.
* Project Work: Technical implementation of medium to large infrastructures to timescale estimates and identifying risks. On larger projects, work within a technical framework of the project to meet customer requirements.
* Technical Capability: Work within a team with in-depth product knowledge without supervision to implement technical best practices.
* Service Level: Manage systems within SLA, proposing, identifying improvements, and implementing changes to meet service level requirements.
* Problem Solving: Take ownership for obtaining the information required to diagnose and resolve problems. Engage with third parties to jointly resolve in-depth product issues where necessary.
* Professional Development: Stay up to date with new products, tools, and techniques, encouraging their use within the business to promote continuous improvement of capability.
Your Experience
* Experience of independently implementing LAN networks and infrastructure patching following design specifications and resolving issues.
* Provision of comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modifications to, solution components to ensure compatibility with relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
* Ability to meet project deadlines and costs within your scope of responsibility.
* Timely provision of workarounds or fixes for errors.
* Ability to adapt solutions to changes in service, process, organization, operating model, and other aspects, demonstrating how agreed requirements (such as automation of business processes) are met, and outlining any unmet requirements or considerations requiring business decisions.
