Are you an experienced SENDCo seeking a new challenge?
We are actively recruiting for a knowledgeable and organised Deputy SENDCo to join the welcoming staff team at one of our partnership Secondary Academies based in Bradford, BD13. The full-time role is expected to commence March 2025 - July 2025 in the first instance and would be suitable for candidates with experience in a similar role. You will work in partnership with staff, parents, pupils and outside agencies to effectively enhance the support and interventions available for pupils with a range of SEND and behavioural needs.
The inclusive Secondary Academy caters for students aged 11-16 within supportive surroundings, encouraging students and staff to become part of the vibrant school community. Staff work hard, setting high expectations for behaviour and learning to ensure no child is left behind. Offering an ambitious curriculum that enables pupils to not only succeed academically, but to build upon their life skills and develop their character to become outstanding citizens.
We welcome applications from ECT's and experienced Teachers, offering competitive rates of pay up to £230 per day depending on experience.
We are seeking a candidate with:
* Relevant SENDCo qualifications and/or experience in a similar role
* Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting the diverse needs of learners
* Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
* An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
* Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
