A client within the public sector based in South Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, contract position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to manage the day-to-day running of the venue, managing the on-site team and ensuring a high-quality visitor experience.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. To be point of contact for tenants, contractors and neighbours.
2. To have a key input into projects on site and improvements to visitor experience.
3. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, contractors and relevant internal and external organisations.
4. Place orders for goods and services as required.
5. Respond and effectively manage a range of customer enquiries and complaints in line with corporate frameworks.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require to be educated to a Level 2 qualification and have conducted an IOSH Managing Safely training or willingness to undertake this as required.
It will be essential to be experienced in the below:
1. Ability to work on own initiative without close supervision.
2. Strong time management skills with an ability to plan ahead and anticipate requirements, problems and obstacles.
3. Ability to develop practical solutions to problems.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats with members of the public, other employees and external organisations.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £21.97 p/h Umbrella Ltd. (approx. £18 p/h PAYE).
