We are recruiting for a Food and Beverage Manager at our Fell End Holiday Park.
As an F&B Manager, you will be accountable for the effective management of all aspects of the Food & Beverage functions. You will strive to maximise every opportunity to improve park and business performance whilst leading, training, supporting and motivating staff members to deliver outstanding customer service to owners, holidaymakers and guests.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring all areas meet with the high expectations of our customers.
2. Ensuring safety of customers and staff.
3. Enforcing relevant legislation (health and safety, hygiene, fire and licensing).
4. Ensuring bars, cellar, kitchen, stock rooms and customer areas are maintained effectively.
5. Ensuring best practices are adhered to with regards cash handling and stock control.
6. Compilation, delivering and exceeding budgeted income figures whilst maintaining margin.
7. Recording all stock wastage in line with company procedures.
8. Delivering accurate stock results.
9. Liaising with stock taker and suppliers to improve results.
10. Proactively managing change and continuous improvement in all areas.
11. Establishing and communicating to staff members achievement goals.
12. Liaising and working cohesively with all departments on park to drive sales.
13. Managing and motivating staff members as well as coaching and developing, supporting and monitoring staff members to encourage promotion.
14. Liaising with the General Manager to prioritise areas of concentration.
15. To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager as and when required.
16. Take all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practices.
17. Comply with company policies, rules and procedures at all times.
18. Any other duties as required by your line manager commensurate with your role.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
1. Experience managing food and beverage in high volume venues.
2. A can-do, will-do person who completes tasks.
3. Assertive, diplomatic and “hands on”.
4. Excellent Communication & Organisational Skills.
5. A great motivator with a very positive attitude.
6. A commercial awareness & business acumen.
7. Ability to work to the needs of the business.
