Job responsibilities Reports to Head of Finance and Information Prescription Quality Administration Ensure timely collection of paper prescriptions from all Holderness Health sites and stored safely in agreed location Check paper prescriptions to ensure correctly completed and endorsed Liaise with Dispensary Manager to correct any errors or resolve any issues Check clinical system for appropriate recording of claimable vaccinations and immunisations and correct any errors Complete monthly submission of FP34 (month-end prescription submission) Arrange courier collection of FP34 and paper prescriptions to ensure receipt at NHS BSA within specified time frame Check and reconcile monthly drug invoices, highlighting specific personally administered (PA) medication for correct VAT treatment Take ownership for the completion of a record of PA medication purchased Provide support to other members of the Finance Team as and when required Provide support to the wider teams within the practice to ensure that quality patient care is always prioritised Reporting Maintain effective records of activity and produce reports as required Ensure personal workplan is up to date Plan for annual leave Report any concerns to Head of Finance and Information Provide any agreed performance/activity data This job description is intended to provide an outline of the key tasks and responsibilities only.
