We're looking for an IQVT Inspector to join our Transportation team based in Gloucester on the A417 missing link road. In this role you'll be an integral member of the team who will be responsible for the inspection monitoring of sections of the A417 project. At the same time maintaining high standards of health and safety, environment and quality and have a commercial awareness whilst ensuring the wellbeing of your team and everyone around you. Location : A417 Gloucester - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required Contract : Permanent Fulltime with some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us Salary : £35,000 - £40,000 per year £5k annual car allowance benefits What will you be responsible for? As an IQVT Inspector, you'll be performing onsite quality inspections and will be the primary point of contact for the team for onsite quality matters, in order to ensure the technical compliance of the assigned scheme to the design specification and to implement the plan safely, on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction and gross profit. Your day to day will include: Inspect the works and witness testing Examine and verify ITPs, check sheets, record sheets, and RAMs to assess the effectiveness of the Delivery Partner's Quality Management Control System Observe critical activities during their execution to evaluate their accuracy and proper implementation Raise an Unsatisfactory Observation Report for the Designer in cases of design issues, providing a copy to the NEC Supervisor What are we looking for?
