About the Role
As a Telecoms Helpdesk Technician, you will be the first line of defence for our clients, troubleshooting and resolving telecoms, network, and service issues remotely. You will work as part of a fast-paced and collaborative team, dedicated to exceeding expectations and delivering a first-class customer experience.
What You’ll Do:
* Diagnose and resolve telecoms, broadband, and network-related issues using remote access tools such as Poly Lens.
* Respond promptly to P1 outages and produce Major Incident reports.
* Collaborate with Telecoms Engineers to resolve customer queries and technical challenges.
* Keep clients informed with timely updates and ensure a seamless support experience.
* Contribute to our growing technical knowledge base and continuously improve our processes.
A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour lunch break. This role also offers flexibility to work from home, typically two days per week for a five-day working week.

Experience and Skills Required
Essential:
* A natural problem solver who thrives on challenges.
* Strong understanding of cloud-based telecoms solutions, SIP technologies, and networking concepts (e.g., routers, IP addressing, DNS).
* Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
* Experience in a customer-focused helpdesk environment with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and remain calm under pressure.
* A logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of telecoms hardware (e.g., HP, Poly, Grandstream).
* Experience in troubleshooting broadband and firewall issues.
* Familiarity with advanced features of tools like Poly Lens, Simwood, or Zero Touch.
