Accounts Clerk – Heywood– Full Time – Permanent VTA Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with our client who is a leading supplier to the Food sector. This friendly, family-run business has been established for over 100 years supplying industry traders throughout the North West, North Midlands and North Wales. We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. Accounting Clerk responsibilities include assisting in keeping financial records updated and preparing reports. You will also run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, posting invoices and receipts. A successful Accounting Clerk will ensure that the company's daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. Key responsibilities- - Ensure that our internal accounts are accurate, and up to date. - Provide general administrative support to the accounts function. - Maintain ledgers, including posting invoices to software - Posting payments. - Process monthly invoices. - Produce daily and weekly reports for distribution. Requirements and skills: -Excellent communication skills - Excellent organisational skills - The ability to work as part of a team - A willingness to learn - At least three years' experience in accounts (preferable) - A high level of IT literacy, including MS Office -Accuracy and attention to detail Working Hours and pay - Monday - Friday. - 9am-5pm with 1 hour lunch break. - £23k – £24k depending on experience (£13ph)
