Accountable to: Director of Sport Part-time, fixed-term contract Start Date: Summer Term 2025 (22nd April 2025) We are looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Cricket Coach who will perform a supporting role in the successful and effective running and development of Sir William Perkins's School PE Department. Working under the Director of Sport, you will assist in the development of our School’s cricket programme for curriculum lessons, co-curricular activities and fixtures. If you have experience of cricket coaching, within a performance school, junior or senior programme and have excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to: • Inspire and motivate cricketers to achieve their best; • increase a player’s confidence in a sporting environment; • Use coaching strategies that effectively support our School’s policies and procedures; and • Communicate effectively to colleagues, students and parents/carers. Your working hours would be an average of 16 hours a week during the Summer Term. Coaching would usually take place in the afternoons.
