We’re now looking for a Head of Insight to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

The Role
As our Head of Insight, you will lead and oversee our research and evaluation efforts, ensuring that the insights generated shape our operations and strategy.
Your role is central to the next stage of our journey, managing the impact strategy and measurement framework and using data to advocate for our beneficiaries.
Leading our research initiatives, you will manage KPI monitoring and reporting and design and conduct primary research. You will work with various research methodologies, analyse complex evidence and communicate findings to stakeholders.
You will also manage insight projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget and build and manage relationships with external partners.
Additionally, you will:
- Monitor external trends and identify relevant research questions
- Support the Fundraising Team with funding applications and identify potential research contracts
- Collaborate with the Marcomms Team to communicate insights to external stakeholders
- Lead and support the Insight Team, promoting a culture of accountability and learning
- Represent us externally to drive support and investment into community sport
About You
To be considered as our Head of Insight, you will need:
- Experience undertaking a wide range of complex research projects
- Experience conducting community-focused and place-based research
- Leadership experience
- An understanding of effective evaluation and reflective practices and experience of generating actionable insight
- The ability to effectively present research findings to different audiences
- Excellent knowledge of a variety of research techniques
