Job Overview:
As an SEO Assistant, you will work closely with the team to enhance the online visibility of our growing number of dental practices. You will assist in writing copy, optimising and publishing website content, conducting keyword research and tracking SEO performance. This role is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of SEO principles and a desire to learn and grow within the business.
Full training and support will be offered; the most important aspect is that you love to write and love to learn!
Key Responsibilities:
* Research and write articles and copy for SEO purposes
* Assist in implementing on-page and off-page strategies to improve website positions
* Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities
* Optimise website content and page structure
* Help monitor and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software platforms
* Research dental competitors and industry trends to stay up to date with the latest developments
* Assist in managing local SEO campaigns, including updating Google My Business profiles and creating directory listings and citations
* Participate in marketing meetings and contribute to ongoing campaigns
Required:
* Strong written skills, must be able to produce engaging, structured articles
* Basic knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies
* Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz (full training will be provided)
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
* Team player with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Preferred:
* Previous experience in SEO or digital marketing
* Experience working with content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
* Knowledge of the dental or healthcare industry an advantage
