Are you an experienced EA looking to join a highly regarded organisation in the Higher Education sector?\n\nWe have registered a very interesting temporary role, in which you will be running the office of a senior team member. For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to become permanent following the successful completion of the temporary assignment.\n\nYou will need to be able to hit the ground running and be able to use your fabulous communication and organisational skills to provide first class support.\n\nPlease note, this is a full-time temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. \n\nTemporary EA to Senior Academic Responsibilities \n\nComplex diary management and organisation of international travel\nDay-to-day office administration including managing emails, drafting correspondence and managing the diary, using initiative and discretion to make considered judgements\nDrafting correspondence\nCoordinate and supporting meetings/committees, including drafting and circulating Minutes, Agendas, and key documentation for meetings\nEnsure that the Senior Academic is prepared for all meetings and appointments by way of summaries, reminders, and/or briefings\nResearching and preparing reports or briefing papers for the Senior Academic and other senior staff\nAssisting with the co-ordination and management of prestigious and high profile events\nTemporary EA to Senior Academic Rewards \n\nAlongside a competitive hourly rate, you will receive the following benefits:\n\nHoliday pay\nFree lunches\nValuable experience in a highly regarded organisation\nThe Company \n\nThe client has a quality focused approach, and they are looking for the ideal temporary worker to embrace their company ethos. You will be working within an educational establishment who uphold a well-recognised reputation.\n\nTemporary EA to Senior Academic Requirements \n\nExperience of managing the office of a senior member of staff, preferably (but not necessarily) in a higher education and/or charitable organisation\nExperience of complex diary management and travel arrangements\nExcellent verbal communication skills and the ability to deal with a wide range of internal colleagues and external contacts tactfully and efficiently\nGood written communication skills and the ability to draft correspondence and reports\nGood judgement and the ability to deal appropriately with confidential information, including handling sensitive situations, with tact\nExcellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail\nAble to prioritise effectively and plan ahead\n\nA co-operative and collaborative attitude\nGood IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, email etc.) and the capacity to pick up new systems quickly.\nLocation \n\nThe client is based in Oxford, OX1. There is no available parking onsite, however there are excellent public transport links.
