Payroll Administrator – Exciting New Opportunity Are you an experienced payroll professional seeking a fresh challenge?A well-established and welcoming firm of Chartered Accountants is expanding due to continued success and is looking for a Payroll Administrator to become part of their dynamic team.As part of the Payroll and Bookkeeping department, you will be responsible for managing payroll from start to finish for a variety of clients, acting as the key contact for all payroll-related inquiries. To be considered, you must have hands-on experience in payroll, ideally within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau. Key responsibilities will include: Handling payroll processing in Real-Time Information (RTI) on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Managing and overseeing auto-enrolment pension schemes. Generating payroll reports and maintaining spreadsheets. Administering statutory payments, including SSP, SMP, and SPP. Calculating sick leave, holiday pay, and redundancy entitlements. Processing all relevant tax documentation such as P45s, P46s (HMRC starter checklist), P60s, and student loan deductions. Responding to payroll-related client queries and liaising with HMRC. Carrying out manual payroll calculations covering tax, National Insurance, maternity leave, holiday allowances, etc. Developing and maintaining excellent client relationships.
