GENERAL SUMMARY Reporting to the Sales Director – NE & MEA, the position will work closely with the Internal Sales team and Technical Sales team to drive the overall company business strategy Develop and execute Sales Business Plans and strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier at key customers within the region Exceed defined sales/ revenue budget for region Promote Rochester Electronics full range of products and services This role will be covering UK North and Ireland. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Owner of direct customer activities within the defined region, working in conjunction with the Internal Sales Representative and Technical Manager to increase sales of Rochester Electronics products and services to customers in accordance with agreed strategies and business plans. Identify major opportunities, gain information, and develop strategies utilizing all available resources to grow the account base within region. Position will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from lead generation, qualifying business opportunities, creating and delivering sales presentations, creating sales proposals, negotiating and closing the deal. Responsible for accurate and timely forecasting of new business opportunities and revenue for the region and ensuring CRM is utilized and maintained on a daily basis. Provide effective communication and service to the customer base and effectively navigate internally to influence decisions and priorities on active business opportunities. Must be willing and able to travel regularly. Approximately 60% travel. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties as assigned. PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES BA or BS Degree Required Proven Sales & Management experience and knowledge Experience managing a large territory and working from a virtual office Strong technical sales experience and a proven track record of successfully selling high tech product solutions (strong working knowledge of the Semiconductor industry preferred) Proven background in developing relationships with key decision makers and influencers including experience in closing complex product deals. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with customers/prospects Flexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks at once and manage them efficiently Ability to work through a problem and maintain focus with little or no supervision Positive attitude with an ability to absorb & learn quickly Team Player Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
