Society is in your hands, what are you waiting for? We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Multi-Disciplinary Programme Manager to join our team. Ideally you would be based in our Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester or Leeds office locations, but we will consider candidates who wish to be based in any of our UK offices. The role can be worked flexibly, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and the option of adjusted start and finish times. What does the role involve? As a Multi-Disciplinary Programme Manager you'll be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of complex high risk projects and programmes that integrate across divisions through the PMF lifecycle. You'll monitor and report on deliverable progress ensuring that the Programme's achieve financial results and client satisfaction. Key projects for this role include working on BAS (British Antarctic Survey) AIMP (Antarctic Infrastructure Modernisation Porgramme), other polar projects and wider Energy sector client portfolios across the UK market. Key deliverables include participating in strategic planning and bid negotiation for major projects, collaborating with business unit management and engineering discipline leads to ensure the correct matrix team for optimum delivery across the divisions encouraging personal development, leading continuous improvement processes that occur because of a multi-D project and ensuring implementation and best practice is adhered to. Identify and monitor risks within the Programme ensuring plans are in place to mitigate impact, ensuring Quality standards are upheld by the team and escalates matters across Divisions if needed and taking an overview of invoices submitted to the Client ensuring they are submitted on time to ensure optimal cash flow. To be successful in this role you ll possess: Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers or other relevant professional body. Experience of project managing frameworks in polar/challenging projects and unusual environments as well as being able to work in collaborative teams. Contract management including to NEC3 and/or 4 Sustainability Management Commercial acumen and the capacity to influence strategic decisions internally and externally whilst making commercial decisions within defined parameters. Excellent consultancy, communication & relationship management skills with experience of conducting workshops and delivering presentations. Strong organisational skills including excellent time management, the ability to prioritise competing demands and the ability to multi-task and organise and motivate others where there are conflicting priorities. Ability to engage with key stakeholders to gain commitment and influence the acceptance of new concepts, ideas, and change. Good analytical and process ability. Experience of delivering across a multi-site organisation. What s in it for you?
